Welcome to Glamovix. We provide premium augmented reality (AR) and 3D virtual try-on software for Shopify merchants. We are committed to protecting the privacy of our merchants, their customers, and visitors to their stores.
This Privacy Policy outlines how we collect, process, and safeguard information when you install and use the Glamovix application on your Shopify store, and when your customers interact with our virtual try-on widget.
Glamovix processes camera captures and facial coordinate points in real-time locally on the client's end device using WebGL/WebAssembly. We do NOT transmit, store, or share facial models or camera streams. No personal photographic biometric data leaves the device browser.
The camera access requested by the virtual try-on widget is used solely to overlay lipstick shaders and textures onto the customer's live image stream locally within their browser. The live video frames are never saved or sent to any server.
To provide our services, we sync and retrieve certain store data from the Shopify API, including: application configurations, active theme settings, product handles and metadata (for linking try-on shades), and basic billing details.
We use this information to maintain the try-on widget's performance, ensure correct color rendering for your product variants, and process subscription fees via Shopify Billing.
Glamovix is designed with data minimization and privacy-first principles. Because facial coordinate processing occurs entirely on the user's local hardware, we do not store biometric data. This 'local-first' architecture aligns naturally with GDPR and CCPA requirements.
Under these regulations, merchants and their customers retain all rights regarding data access, restriction, and erasure. Any metadata or configuration values stored on our databases can be deleted immediately upon merchant request or app uninstallation.
